Happy Christmas you lovely people.

I truly hope you are having a day full of all the things you hold dear and love with all your heart.

Just to finish off the interior of the book, I created twelve large tags to sit in the "secret" pocket the pages make.

Rubber stamped on both side and edges blacked.

I will be decorating the covers at some point.

Merry Christmas to You All. xxx

Only one more sleep and he will be here,... and gone!

Lets get a little messy for this one

This is a piece of corrugated cardboard from an old box.

I wet one side, then gentally peeled off the top bit of paper, to reveal the corrugations.

Paint the card with red acrylic paint.

and black the edges and bumps.

Colour some cream paper with Rangers green ink, then stamp Holly, three or four times,

Cut these out and black the edges.

Select an appropriate image an age with ink

Add a sentiment, and arrange the photo and cut outs.

Staple on the leaves,

Add a ribbon.
And that concludes Twenty Four Tags of Christmas.

Twenty three

Cut yourself a large tag shape,

Add collages, this can be anything you like. Old letters, photographs,.... anything!

I have used photocopies of game cards and text from old books.

Stamp and colour. These are Tim Holtz stamps, coloured with water colour pencils.

Stitch,

Add Glitter,

And some ribbon.

Not long to go now.......!

Twenty two

This tag only happened as there was a heap of "Stuff" on my desk and I liked how the worked together.

Tag template 21 cm x 13 cm.

I cut my tag shape out twice in this gorgeous red ticking type fabric, but you could have both sides different if you wish.

Then I drew myself a stocking shape and made myself a template out of card.

Cut one stocking out of a plain tea died cotton.

Stitched this to one of the tags. Then I cut a tag, one centimeter smaller then the first tag on stiffener.

Joined them all together and stitched them on the machine. Add a ribbon.

Twenty One!

This is a variation on the theme. Kind of like the loo roll tag but this time I am using a card and envelope.

A card an envelope, this is from Papermania. The size is 10.5 x 21 cm.

I sealed the envelope up the cup off the top. I used a hole punch to create the aperture at the top, to help you pull the card out.
Stamped Santa in red rangers ink, masked him and stamped text. This gives the impression the text is behind Santa.
I went around the edges of both card and tag with the red ink.

To colour the card I placed the red ink on a craft mat and spritz with water. I mopped the ink up with the card

Add a ribbon.

Tag Twenty!

Rather a simple one today, but no less attractive for it.

On a craft mat tap out some Rangers Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.

Rub your cream card into this. These cards I got at a car boot. They are vintage note cards for flowers and the like. Came out of an old shop which had been shut for years. They have a crinkly, gilt edge, wonderful!

Stamp image in vintage photo, sorry I don't know who's image this is.

Glue this card onto a tag,

and Millicent is your Aunty.

Number nineteen

This is similar if not the same as tag number seven, just changing the size.

Make yourself a tag template, 27 cm x 9 cm. Add a scalloped glittery edge. I punched holes in this to add to the decoration. Fold up the bottom 8 cm and stitch all round the tag, on the machine.

Stamp Santa in the corner, he is from Rubber Stampede.

Mask the tag pocket and stamp snow flakes over the back, this is by Personal Stamp Exchange.

Add details to the pocket front, use the pocket for name tags or gifts.

Tag number 18!

I am obsessed with covering loo rolls with decorative paper! Makes a great tag.

You will need stuff!

Two loo roll inner.

Cover in paper and black the edges.

Make a tag with the other loo roll, it will need to be slightly less than half of the other loo roll or it will not slide in.

Cover in decorative paper.

Add detail to the front and a ribbon.
